I had a great time hosting this event and I look forward to hosting the 2nd annual #FPHSH next December.  I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again.  The Florida Plunge Holiday Scavenger Hunt is all about family and friends, and each of you showed that.  Thanks you again for participating.  You probably want to know what you’ve been playing for anyway.

CHALLENGE 10, the final challenge for the Florida Plunge Holiday Scavenger Hunt #FPHSH! 

Merry Christmas!  I hope you and your family have had a fantastic Christmas.  Before I present you with your final challenge, I want to take this time to say Thank You for supporting me and my little blog.  My family and I love bringing you our experiences and hope to continue to do so for a long time to come.  This Florida Plunge Holiday Scavenger Hunt was my Christmas gift to you.  It was my way of getting you and your family to have some fun during this crazy time of year.  I hope you enjoyed the silliness, but more importantly hope you enjoyed the time you spent with your family, because that’s what this is all about…family. 

So here it is, your final challenge.

I want you to take a family picture and send it to me.  You can have as many family members in the picture as you can fit.  I want to see smiles, laughter and love in these pictures.  Make these pictures as simple or as creative as you want. I want this to be a picture that you will remember taking for a long time to come. 

SCORING:
No Points will be awarded for this picture, as it is as they say…priceless. 

But it wouldn’t be a #FPHSH challenge if there wasn’t a bonus option right? 

Bonus Points:
50 Points – Most Creative #FPHSH Sign.  Only 1 participant will receive this bonus.

10 Points – For every Disney character stuffed animal / doll included in the family photo.  These stuffed animal / dolls, however, must be larger than your hand.

You survived “The Night Before Christmas” challenge!  Way to go!

This time, to keep things interesting, Jayla judged the submitted photos.  She definitely had a favorite.  She also said that all of you were silly!  That’s a good thing don’t you think?  The updated scores are listed here.  It is a really close race between 1st and 2nd, and there is less than 100 points between 1st and 3rd.  It’s anyones game.  The last challlenge will be posted shortly.

CHALLENGE 9 for the Florida Plunge Holiday Scavenger Hunt #FPHSH! 

That’s right, NOT EVEN A __________!  Challenge 9 will once again be judged by the kids.  Present to them a picture of you with your most creative creature that is not even stirring in your house on this Christmas Eve, and of course include the #FPHSH sign! 

SCORING:
Points will be award as such:
1st Place – 100 Points
2nd Place – 90 Points
3rd Place – 80 Points
and 10 points deducted for each place there after.

Be sure to include #FPHSH in your photo somewhere.

Bonus Points:
100 Points if Mom is in her Kerchief and Dad is in his cap and they are snuggled down for a long winters nap!

CHALLENGE 8 for the Florida Plunge Holiday Scavenger Hunt #FPHSH!  HAPPY SWEATER GAMES!

I’ve waited the enter scavenger hunt to spring this one on you!  It’s the HAPPY SWEATER GAMES!  Break out those UGLY CHRISTMAS SWEATERS!  I’m ready for you to show them off to the world!  The uglier the better.  Be creative as these sweaters will be judged by my 10, 8 & 6 yr old.

SCORING:
The ugliest of the ugly will receive first place and get 100 POINTS
2nd place 90 POINTS
3rd place 80 POINTS
and so on and so on deducting 10 points for each place.

Be sure to include #FPHSH in your photo somewhere.

Bonus Points:
50 Points if we can tell that this sweater was a total DIY Project and not just an ugly sweater hanging in your closet!

It’s time for you to be as fast as Lightening McQueen, because the #FPHSH Speed Round has officially started.  From now through Christmas Day, all challenges are due mid midnight the same day they are presented to you.

Challenge Number 7 – For 50 POINTS make yourself into a Human Christmas Card Display.  Be sure to include your #FPHSH Christmas Card in the display.

The holidays have arrived at light speed this year and in honor of that this challenge is all about Star Wars!  I want you to create a Christmas scene, but all characters must be in Star Wars mode!  This challenge is worth 75 points.  And as always, work #FPHSH into your scene.

Bonus Points:
5 Points For Every Light Sabre (Note:  It must look like a light sabre).
